Yesterday we finished our unit on the cinema: listening, vocabulary, speaking and film review. We also started our new and last unit.

Hi there,

Yesterday we continued with our unit on family conficts: we revised the use and form of the comparatives, some work on sentence stress and time for writitng about "Living in Salamanca".

Homework: Read the article, look up the words you don´t understand in a dictionary and be prepared to talk about in our last day of class.

I remind you that the written exam (reading, writing and listening) will be June 7th at your usual time of class, that is:

 - BASIC LEVEL: fonoteca 4pm - 5.30pm
 - INTERMEDIATE LEVEL: Coro A 5.30 pm - 7 pm
 - ADVANCED LEVEL: fonoteca 7pm -8.30pm

Os recuerdo que el examen escrito ( comprensión lectora, comprensión auditiva y expresión escrita) será el día 7 de junio en vuestra hora habitual de clase:

- NIVEL BÁSICO: fonoteca 16:00 - 17:30h
- NIVEL INTERMEDIO: Coro A 17:30 - 19:00h
- NIVEL AVANZADO: fonoteca 19:00 -20:30h

Today we´ve continued our unit on family conflicts. We´ve learned the use of yet, just and alrady with the present perfect, done quite a lot of exercises on it ( I hope you already know how to use them!) and I have given you some time to think and write about your oral presentations.

Hi there,

On Tuesday we continued doing exercises on prepositions, we also did a reading activity about "Mozart effect: fact or fiction?" and learn the difference in pronunciation between "control" as a noun and as a verb ( + other similar words).

Homework: Write an article to a music magazine where you discuss the following issue: How do these kinds of music affect people? Classical, hip-hop, rock, pop, opera, jazz, techno and country.
