HALLOWEEN IS GETTING CLOSER ( All levels)

Hi guys,
When learning a language, one of the most important elements you need to know is related to cultural aspects. It´s essential that you know the culture of a society if you want to understand its people...As you may know, Halloween is next week, so probably we will work on this typical Anglo-Saxon custom next Tuesday.
Be ready!!!!
BASIC LEVEL
Just a quick note to remind you to listen to the "secret admirer" listening activity and BRING a short summary ( 1 or 2 lines is enough) next Tuesday.
See you!!
INTERMEDIATE LEVEL
We will continue with the text about the Beatles next Tuesday ( the speaking and reading part)
See you!!
ADVANCED LEVEL
This is the link for the activities we´ve been working on today. Homework: remember that you can choose between the essay about a song you like or the magazine article about important bands.

ADVANCED LEVEL
Remember that you have to do exercises 3 and 4 of the Reading activity for Tuesday 19th. Be also prepared to discuss the questions in exercise 2 and 5 in class.
As I have said to the Intermediate students, it would be a good idea if you made a note of all the different words connected to music that you can find in the text so that you have a kind of "music dictionary"( you could check the pronunciation as well...).
Enjoy the bank holiday!!
INTERMEDIATE LEVEL
I just want to remind you that you have to finish exercise 3 of the Reading activity ( the one about the synonyms) and do the writing activity. Remember that you have to check and correct the spelling and grammar in the messages and you have to hand in your answers on a separate piece of paper on Tuesday 19th.
I would suggest you re-read the text and make a note of all the different words and expressions connected to music as they will be useful for you in the future.
Have a nice bank holiday!!!
